This past June we moved into our new home built by Bouffard and Mcfarland Builders. Working with Reggie and Gary on the construction of our new home was a very positive experience. The open and friendly approach coupled with quality workmanship helped reduce the stress of the building process.

One of the reasons we hired Bouffard and McFarland was the quality of their finish work. After seeing some of their work, we knew that was what we wanted for our home. Their signature interior work includes amazing moldings, built-ins and woodworking that makes the difference between a "cookie cutter" house and a one of a kind, unique home.

One of the qualities that we appreciated most with Reggie and Gary was their open communication. Whether it was in person, through e-mails or phone calls, they were always available to address our questions and concerns. They were incredibly patient with us and any concerns that did arise were quickly dealt with in a timely and satisfactory manner.

When my wife and I decided (after years of looking at available homes) to build, we were faced with many obstacles. First, we live 2300 miles from what was to become our dream Maine home; Second, how do we find quality reliable builders that will translate our ideas into reality; Third, will the builders be around to help us with future concerns after our move in date.

We had heard so many horror stories of delayed completions, budget increases, etc. That we spent a tremendous time picking the best builder in Maine for us. Bouffard and Mcfarland was a name we heard repeatedly and we were able to view a custom home they completed.

All our friends in Texas that built homes were so envious of the professional way Gary and Reggie treated us and our questions. Our home was built of quality materials, on time, and within our budget. Five years later, Gary and Reggie are still there for our questions, maintenance issues (which have been relatively few) and general explanations. Their work is so detailed and careful, that we asked them to build a library in our basement this spring. My wife and I drew rather crude plans that Gary and Reggie translated (in our absence) to the library of our dreams.
